After conducting a survey in 30 villages of Khedbrahma taluka and 48 Schools, a project of 50 Non formal education awarded by Department of Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India was implemented for providing education to 1250 Non going children and school drop-outs in the age group of 9 to 14 years. After providing education for 3 years it was expected that the children start going to formal schools.

Anganwadi

Government of Gujarat had allocated 20 Anganwadis to NLRDF for better administration. Children under 6 years of age, nursing and expectorant mothers were provided nutrition food and immunization. Growth of all children is monitored and recorded on growth chart. Pre primary education to children of 3-6 age group was given as preparatory training for going to school.
